Musical Group 1969

Doors open 5:30 pm, Meeting/Program 6:15 pm

What is the first thing that comes to mind when you think back to the music of 1969 besides the first landing on the moon and Woodstock, the rock festival that still defines the very concept of the rock festival! Fantastic hits! Rock was still very exciting as the ’60s came to a close, with bands and artists from both America and across the Atlantic turning out some of their most memorable work. Put on your tie - dye shirts and wave those peace signs as 1969 pays tribute to The 5th Dimension, The Archies, The Temps, Sly and The Family Stone, and The Beatles to name but a few! 1969 will put you in the mood to get up and dance like you never have before!

Club members only, no guests. Click HERE to register.

Poker Run

4:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Participants will meet at SeaBreeze Rec Center by the picnic tables at 4:30pm to pickup their score cards and to obtain clues to 7 different rec centers. All rec centers will be nearby (between Rt 466 and Rt 466A). During this time, participants will receive help finding a golf cart buddy, if needed, or driving a car is allowed. Please bring your gate card.

This is not a race. Take your time and BE SAFE!

Do NOT drink and drive.

Visit the 7 rec centers, identified by the clues given, in any order to you want. At each center you will be greeted by a volunteer instructing you to pick one card from a deck of 52 cards. A volunteer will then record your card on your personal score card, thus creating your poker hand.

After you have visited all 7 rec centers, you will return to SeaBreeze where pizza will be served as you await the announcement of the winning poker hands. You may BYOB for enjoyment back at SeaBreeze. Cash prizes will be given to the top 6 places. Five-of-a-Kind is considered highest.

We recommend using a GPS or a cell phone with a mapping app to navigate to the Rec Centers. However, if you prefer a hardcopy map, see the rec guide issued on Thursdays in the Daily Sun, or pick one up at any Rec Center.

We will have over $1,000 in prizes. Don't miss it!

Advance registration required. $20 per person. Club members and their guests are welcome. Click HERE to register.
